Hello guys! How are
you? Hope you guys have an amazing fantastic day.
A few months ago, I
finally got to try Korean food from MyeongDong Topokki! I've heard of its
multiple times and I was craving for it so bad. Unfortunately, I’m not eating
at the restaurant but ordered through food panda. I have ordered 2 dishes
which are Myeongdong Topokki and Kimbap. MyeongDong Topokki’s specialty is
topokki, the medley of rice cakes and fish cakes served with steaming-hot in
gochujang sauce.
Taste-wise, I love the
sauce with extra spicy. The rice cakes wonderfully chewy "cakes" made
from basically compressed rice. That texture is addictive; they are just
fantastically chewy, and I love them.
How about Kimbap?
Describing Kimbap is a
bit more difficult. Yes, it begins with rice and yes, it has seaweed, but it is
there that the similarities between sushi and kimbap end and Intended to be a
one-bite food. I think it has cucumber, egg, and carrot.
How about the price?
For me, the price is
quite expensive for that small portion.
So overall my first
impression of trying Myeongdong Topokki was good. I would like to give 4/5 for
these 2 dishes.
