How are you? I hope you guys have an amazing Sunday! Today , I would like to review the product from
Texas Chicken Malaysia which is Mala Chicken. Their advertisement claim: “mind-blowing flavors with the spicy aroma and the numbing hotness
of the mala sauce will definitely bring a party to our mouth, or a challenge to
our taste buds”.
My review:
I bought the 2-piece combo which comes with two fried chicken parts drenched in a red sauce,
mashed potatoes, one honey butter biscuit, and one regular soft drink.
The crispy skin
of the Mala chicken was surprisingly not as electrifying numbing or spicy but
leaning towards the sweeter side. The meat was moist and tender. While there
wasn’t much of the mala kick, the chicken was still tasty and fit for all ages.
For those who can’t handle spice very well, you should choose for this as it’s sweeter
than it is spicy. Meanwhile, being the spice queen that I am, I’d rather need
extra kick for the spiciness.
