REVIEW : Order Pak Gembus via Foodpanda: Worth It Ke Combo Tak Kisah & Honeydew Latte?

 Pak Gembus Ayam Gepuk Kota Warisan – Real Talk: Combo Tak Kisah & Honeydew Latte (Foodpanda Takeaway Review)

Tengah hari tu I rasa nak makan sesuatu yang pedas-pedas, so I ordered from Pak Gembus Ayam Gepuk dekat Kota Warisan via Foodpanda. I pilih Combo Tak Kisah dan minumannya I ambil Honeydew Latte. Total sekali dengan delivery, RM27.20. Here’s my honest review.


🍗 Combo Tak Kisah – Sambal Power, Tapi Ayam Kurang Umph

Bila bungkusan sampai, seperti yang dijangka – makanan memang tak panas sangat, sebab biasalah kalau bungkus memang akan suam je bila sampai. Tapi I perasan ayam dia kecil, sejuk dan agak keras, so texture tu tak berapa menyelerakan.

Nasi pula suam-suam, not cold tapi bukan panas. Sambal dia tetap menyengat dan tempe goreng pun okay, tapi overall feel meal tu memang kurang sebab ayam tak garing dan dah sejuk.

Nasi putih (suam-suam)

Tempe goreng

Ulam & sambal

🧋 Honeydew Latte – Sedap dan Menyelamatkan

Minuman ni memang best – Honeydew Latte dia creamy, rasa fresh dan tak terlalu manis. Sejuk dan menyegarkan, especially bila makan sambal pedas. Honestly, air ni menyelamatkan meal I hari tu.

🛵 Delivery & Service

Delivery okay, packaging pun kemas. Rider sampai cepat. Cuma mungkin makanan dah lama siap sebelum rider ambil, tu yang jadi sejuk. Tapi I faham, bila order takeaway or delivery, memang kena set expectation yang makanan takkan sampai panas-panas macam makan terus kat kedai.

✔️ Sambal memang padu

✔️ Air Honeydew Latte sangat sedap

➖ Ayam sejuk dan keras (mungkin sebab bungkus)

➖ Nasi suam-suam

💭 RM27.20 – boleh diterima kalau makan masa makanan masih fresh

Kalau you jenis yang prefer makanan panas, better dine-in atau makan terus lepas pickup. Tapi kalau order delivery, at least standby microwave untuk panaskan balik.

Sometimes it’s not about the food being bad — it’s about knowing what to expect bila order bungkus. For me, sambal dia still worth trying… tapi next time I’ll probably dine in. 😄

REVIEW : Kopihut Kota Warisan – Big Portion, Big Flavour, Bear in My Coffee!

Last weekend, I dropped by Kopihut at Kota Warisan and had a surprisingly satisfying meal. I ordered their Mee Wantan with BBQ Chicken and a glass of their signature Coffee Ais—and let me tell you, both items were on point.

The Mee Wantan BBQ Chicken came in a big portion—memang puas hati! The noodles were nicely cooked, springy and well-coated with their savoury sauce. The BBQ chicken, while not the most tender I’ve had, still packed a punch in flavour. Slightly firm, but well-marinated and smoky—it gave that nice chew that goes well with the noodles.

But the Coffee Ais stole the show for me! Creamy, rich, and kaw gila! The best part? It came with a bear-shaped ice cube floating in the glass—comel gila, seriously. Not only cute, but it kept the drink cool without watering it down too fast. Small detail, big impact.

REVIEW : Thursdvys TTDI – A Hidden Gem for Coffee Lovers & Dessert Cravers

Kalau korang tengah cari port yang tenang untuk lepak, buat kerja, atau nak take a break dari hari yang sibuk – Thursdvys dekat TTDI memang kena try. I singgah sini baru-baru ni, and serius, I fell in love with their iced latte dan sepotong tiramisu.

Iced Latte – Super Rich, Super Sedap
First sip je dah rasa umphh! Dia punya espresso memang kaya, rasa coffee dia pekat tapi smooth gila. Tak terlalu pahit, tak terlalu manis – just nice. Lepas tu, bila ais cair sikit, rasa dia still maintain rich. Kalau korang jenis yang picky bab kopi, especially iced latte, Thursdvys punya memang tak mengecewakan. Smooth, creamy, ada rasa roasted notes yang padu – memang puas hati.

Tiramisu – Lembut, Tak Muak, Sedap Gila
Sambil-sambil minum kopi tu, I try a slice of their tiramisu. Portion dia elok je untuk seorang. Cream dia fluffy, sponge dia moist tapi tak lembik sangat. Bila makan sekali dengan kopi – fuuhh, memang ngam! Tak terlalu manis, and ada hint rasa coffee yang subtle.

Sambil-sambil minum kopi, makan tiramisu… rasa macam dunia pause sekejap. Chill habis.

Suasana & Feel Tempat
Tempat dia simple, minimalis tapi cozy. Sesuai sangat kalau nak datang sorang buat kerja, atau lepak dengan member. Lighting cantik, vibe tenang, and service pun cepat dan mesra.

My Verdict:
Kopi iced latte memang wajib try – kaya rasa & tak watery
Tiramisu sedap – light, not overly sweet
✅ Port chill yang sesuai untuk coffee time santai

So kalau korang dekat area TTDI atau lalu area tu, do yourself a favour – singgah Thursdvys. Duduk, order kopi, ambil satu kek, and enjoy the moment.




REVIEW: Nak Nak – Gochujang Chicken with Rice @ Gateway Terminal 2, KLIA

Kalau lalu dekat Gateway@KLIA Terminal 2 dan teringin nak makan something pedas ala Korea, memang confirm akan nampak Nak Nak. Antara menu utama dia ialah Gochujang Chicken with Rice – datang sekali dalam set dengan air refill. Tapi sedap ke? Jom baca dulu.




🍗 Ayam Sedap ??
Ayam dia memang tak mengecewakan – juicy, cukup rasa, dan disalut dengan sos Gochujang yang pekat, pedas, manis sikit, dan savoury. Flavour dia betul-betul buat orang yang suka spicy food rasa puas.

🍚 Nasi Sejuk
Sayangnya, nasi sejuk. Mungkin sebab dah ready pack awal, so bila time kita makan tu, tak rasa fresh dan kurang sedap bila digabungkan dengan ayam panas. Kalau dihidang dengan nasi panas, confirm rasa dia lagi kick.

❌ Tak Ada Side Dish
Dalam set ni, tak ada side dish macam kimchi atau acar. Just nasi dan ayam. So kalau jenis suka ada pelengkap rasa, memang akan rasa kurang sikit dari segi variety.

🍪 Sometimes Dapat Free Cookies
Yang menarik – kadang-kadang ada bagi small cookies free! Macam bonus kecil, tapi benda macam ni boleh buat customer rasa dihargai. Cookies tu rangup, manis sikit – nice touch lepas makan pedas.

🥤 Refillable Drink Included
Set ni datang sekali dengan air refillable – sangat membantu bila makan makanan pedas. Kalau haus lepas travel pun best, boleh refill sampai puas.

💸 Harga – RM20–RM30
Harga satu set dalam lingkungan RM20 ke RM30. Untuk lokasi airport, ini standard. Tapi bila ambil kira nasi sejuk dan tiada side dish, rasa macam boleh lagi worth kalau improve sikit presentation.

⏱️ Servis Cepat
Service laju dan staff friendly. Order tak ambil masa lama – sesuai untuk travellers yang nak cepat.

⭐ Overall Verdict
Rating: 4/5
✅ Ayam sedap, spicy Gochujang dia memang win
✅ Free refill drink + kadang-kadang dapat cookies
❌ Nasi sejuk & no side dish, harga agak tinggi sikit untuk value sekarang
Kalau Nak Nak boleh improve dari segi nasi dan tambah sikit side, this spot boleh jadi favourite ramai dekat T2.

If you're a dessert lover (especially one with a weakness for coffee and cream), Coffee Bean's Tiramisu for Two might already be on your radar. I recently gave it a try—and here’s the honest scoop!

First Impressions

Served neatly on a white plate, the cake’s clean lines and the soft beige swirl of crème crown make it look more like a petite pâtisserie creation than a supermarket grab‑and‑go. It’s Instagram gold.

The Taste Test

  • Texture: The mascarpone layer is pillowy and light, contrasting beautifully with the springy, espresso‑kissed sponge beneath.

  • Flavor: You get a nuanced coffee hit—deep and aromatic, but never bitter—balanced by the cream’s mild sweetness and a whisper of cocoa.

  • Crème Crown: That extra drizzle adds a touch of richness and visual flair. It’s optional, but if you love a creamier mouthfeel (and prettier photos), it’s worth the RM 2.80.

Portion & Shareability

RESEPI 95 : Kari Udang dengan Kacang Moringa/Munggai

Kalau hampa tengah cari resepi kari yang simple tapi sedap, cuba buat kari udang dengan kacang moringa ni. Udang yang manis dan lembut, campur dengan kacang moringa yang rangup, pastu digaul dalam kuah santan pekat berempah — memang ngam sangat! Sesuai sangat untuk makan tengah hari atau malam bersama keluarga. Senang je nak buat, bahan pun tak banyak.




Bahan-bahan:

  • 1 mangkuk udang, dibersihkan
  • 8 batang kacang moringa (batang atau daun), dipotong serong
  • 1 kotak kecil santan Kara
  • Garam dan gula secukup rasa
  • 5 ulas bawang merah, dipotong
  • 3 ulas bawang putih, dipotong
  • 2 cm halia, dipotong
  • 2 peket kecil serbuk Kari Udang Adabi
  • Minyak masak secukupnya

Cara-cara:

  1. Tumis rempah: Panaskan minyak dalam periuk. Tumis bawang merah, bawang putih & halia hingga naik bau dan masukkan kan rempah kari dan tunggu hingga minyak pecah minyak, dalam 10 mins. Make sure kacau nak elak hangus rempah
  2. Masukkan kacang moringa: Gaul kacang moringa dengan rempah dan tumis selama 3-4 minit.
  3. Masukkan santan dan air: Tuang santan Kara dan sedikit air (jika perlu), kacau rata dan biarkan mendidih perlahan.
  4. Reneh: Tutup periuk dan reneh selama 10-15 minit sehingga kacang moringa lembut tetapi masih rangup.
  5. Masukkan udang: Masukkan udang dan masak sehingga udang bertukar warna merah jambu dan masak sempurna, lebih kurang 3-5 minit.
  6. Perasakan: Tambah garam dan gula secukup rasa. Sesuaikan rasa mengikut citarasa anda.
  7. Hidang: Angkat dan hidang panas bersama nasi putih.
