REVIEW: Uncle Roger at Gateway Terminal 2, KLIA

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Uncle Roger’s outlet in Gateway Terminal 2, KLIA, and my experience was mixed. The ordering process was straightforward: after placing my order, I was assigned a table number, and the food was delivered directly to my seat. This efficient service was appreciated, especially in the bustling airport environment.

The food itself was decent—not exceptional, but satisfactory. The portions were on the smaller side, and considering the pricing, which ranged around RM15–RM25 per dish, it felt a bit expensive for what was served. A standout was the sambal belacan—it was flavorful and added a delightful kick to the meal. However, my friend’s tea was noticeably pricey at RM14 for a simple drink, which seemed quite steep.

The ambiance was casual and fitting for an airport setting, though it didn't offer anything particularly unique. Overall, Uncle Roger at Gateway Terminal 2 provides a convenient option for travelers seeking a quick meal, but it may not offer the exceptional dining experience some might expect.
